I’ve seen a few of these questions pop up on the mocks… couldn’t find it in the material … does anyone know what the difference is between the following (and could you give an example?) Asset Risk Sales Risk Operating Risk Strategic Policy Risk Accounting Risk
Asset risk —> the risk that assets will be missapropriated by management Strategic policy risk —> the risk that management will go on inappropriate M&A transactions Accounting risk —> the risk that FS will be incomplete, inaccurate Liability risk —> the risk that management will take on huge leverage and disadvantage shareholders I think operating risk is found in hedge funds. Sales risk —> ???
let me add some more credit risk downgrade risk default risk active risk factor risk I think sales risk just means that the company has crappy sales teams that are pigs and cant sell shit.

Nice! I would also like to add that the asset risk, liability risk, strategic policy risk, accounting risk are found in corp finance volume.
Sales Risk is not in this year’s LOS. It was in 2010’s.
