Regional Position in the Southeast
Responsibilities:
- Help build and maintain coverage of the Communications Technology sector.
- Construction and maintenance of financial models including: earnings, valuations and industry models for the firm’s sales force and institutional clients.
- Generate detailed reports/notes on relevant investment themes and events
- Significant due diligence requiring “cold calling”, surveying, building industry contacts
- Keep abreast of company filings and industry-related news flow.
- Other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong writing skills absolutely necessary
- Passion for financial markets
- Must be detail oriented to the point of nearly having a disorder
- Ability to build pro forma income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement in your sleep, and familiarity with Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Ability to communicate effectively
