Well, it’s unnatural , for example no child is born believing in a deity, it is learned behavior. It is normal in some societies (US, Saudi Arabia, Philippines) and not normal in others (Sweden, China, UK, Hong Kong).
People are born atheists, then their parents turn them religious.
