I have dirty jokes for about 65.9% of the threads on AF but don’t say anything cause I don’t want to get banned. I hope you’re proud of me bchad. I just want to make you proud.
No dirty joke on my part. The “Road of Death” is indeed quite safe if you ride conservatively. If, however, you ride aggressively and push things, it can live up to its name. Our group rode at about a 6.5 out of 10 on the aggressive scale most of the time. When my BIL flipped and broke his nose, his bike actually did go over the edge and landed on a ledge about 5 feet below the road surface. Had it missed the ledge, it would have fallen 80 or 90 feet. I got uncomfortably close to the edge a few times when I was knocked out of my line by rocks. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but our guide said he lost at least one rider in his career, of course he could have just said that to enhance our experience.
Yeah pretty sure Boston usurped that namesake when they proceeded to win nine championships across the four major sports since the turn of the century. Lol Green Bay.
I’ve heard western AB is beautiful… haven’t had a chance to head out that way, though. Eastern AB is pretty in the fall. You guys probably take for granted how often you get to see the northern lights… they’re an incredible sight to see.
Yeah, pretty sure you’re mistaken. Everyone knows Titletown to be Green Bay. The Green Bay Packers have won more championships – 13 – than any other team in National Football League history. And none of them have asterisks associated with them, unlike your favorite team.
Oh yeah, the East isn’t nearly as beautiful as the West. The foothills and then the Rockies are incredible. It’s amazing to be 30mins away from that. And yeah, the Northern Lights have been really active the last few years. I can watch from our house easily many nights.
