BA II Plus Professional Memory doubts

Hi guys. I’m having a problem in calculating the TVM variables using my BA-II Plus pro. I have observed that the best way to clear the memory is by resetting the calc. everytime before an operation although I’m sure there must be a better way. 2nd+Clr Work and/or 2nd+Clr TVM doesn’t work flawlessly as I have found that it doesn’t erase all of the previous values. One or the other value is left here and there be it in CF or whatever and that spoils the calculation. Can anybody help? Regards.

get in the habbit or resetting not clearing TVM

I noticed exact same problem. 2nd+Clr Work and/or 2nd+Clr TVM does not clear everything specially after I tried NPV or IRR problems. I could do the resetting but then that removes number of digit setting as well. I usually set it for 6 digits and if I do the 2nd + RESET, it wipes off 6 diget setting and goes back to 2 diget setting. It’s a bit annoying I found to reset this everytime.

2nd clr tvm clears TVM related stuff, but does not reset the 2nd BGN/2nd End setting. That you must do manually. 2nd clr work - clears NPV/IRR setting. (or the 2nd Bond setting once u are in that function). Please remember never to change period - since that setting is not cleared by either, and needs the 2nd Reset to happen to change it back to default. you are better of multiplying no. of years by 4 (for quarterly) and dividing the rate by 4 (for quarterly) and inputting those revised numbers.
