Baisc Stat book

I am looking for a basic stat book to revise concepts. Any recommendations?

Read the CFA L1 study text, it started with the basics… or are you talking about some high school level algebra …

Data Analysis and Decision making using Microsoft Excel is a good one. It is a text book, making it pricey, but it is good. While a lot of focus is on excel model building, the underlying concepts are still covered well. You have to understand distributions, correlation, etc…in order to build the models, and the book covers this material in as much detail as the excel part…in other words, don’t let the name fool you…

If you are only after stats then the provided notes are pretty good, if you are after a more general math / prob and stat foundation I would recommend "Introductory Mathematical Analysis 11th Edn by Haeussler, Paul and Wood. It is used as pre-MBA math refresser by a few schools that I know - aimed at getting people up from scratch and is designed for business, economics students. Best of luck
