I recently hooked up with a girl who was half-Filipino, half-American. Her skin really did feel freaking amazing, and when I asked her how come her skin was so awesome, she said it was because of her ancestry. So maybe there’s some truth to it.
Too bad that a couple weeks later she totally flaked on me.
I stick to my own, Latinas all the way…although I have a soft spot for half-asian, half-white girls. My favorite was this joant from about a year ago…half-korean, half-finnish (as in finland)…such a sexy sweet combo, our encounter is a sweet story too but not forum appropriate.
Just a side note, I see quite a few charterholders on this forum talk about their hook-up stories with women. Is it because many CFA Charterholders (or guys in finance, in general) are single, less conservative and open to experience new things?
I don’t know how CPAs are like…LOL! But probably most CFAs are male and most CPAs are female, which explains, I guess.
Omg, I just post 3 comments consecutively…which is crazy enough. Time to get back to work!
As I said, my friends with an Asian fetish explained it to me, and one happened to know the physiological reason for it. And it was confirmed when I got close to my Japanese friend (with whom I was never able to seal the deal - years later, I found out that I was someone she was interested in while she was broken up with someone else, but then she got back together with him).
As for a guy - I think there are many ways to be masculine. Having awesome skin might make him seem feminine on that quality, but if counterbalanced by other stuff, I could see it being a win-win for everyone. My russian friend did not find him feminine, despite the skin. She did decide he was an a-hole, though, so she didn’t stay with him.
While I agree that Asian skin feels amazing and would like to have the chance to experience that more fully, I find I just get along best with Latinas (and reasonably well with Russians/ex-Soviet types too). I find the coyness and Asian mystery angle kind of frustrating, and so I can’t get myself to adapt to the asian rules of how to charm/seduce. I find Latinas very sweet and loving, and I like the intellectual power that Russian/ex-Soviet women have (and both are sexy to me).
I did have a girlfriend whose mother was Bolivian, and both very clearly had indigenous features, which made many people think she was Japanese. She did have wonderful skin, too, so maybe I got to experience an asian-skin-lite version for a while.
It’s because we are all egocentric narcissit believing we are god’s gift to the other gender. Jokes aside, for a water cooler section i think many of us have used a lot of discretion when it comes to said topic. If it makes you feel any better, some of us actually partake in the “i dont kiss and tell” mantra.
With respect to masculinity, i believe the old adage of opposites attract. I tend to be just shy of the caveman status but tend to attract delicate flowers. Whereas i’ve seen some of my friends who are more feminine date girls who carry some tom boy status.
Am I the only one who thinks this discussion of skin has run its course? I feel like the next post will be “I really like when they puts the lotion on the skin”
I just brought it up because some people wondered what motivates supposed “Asian fetishes” in non-Asians and I mentioned that Asian skin feels different and some people really like that. It’s something that’s not obvious at all unless you have experienced it or talked to others who have.
I felt it added value to the conversation, because the more typical explanation of “the Asian fetish” involves stereotypes (true or not; I don’t really know) that Asian women are are extra submissive and obediant, and I thought this fact would offer an alternative explanation that was less perjorative to both Asians and the non-Asians who find them extra attractive.
I’m perfectly content to let the topic stop there, though, and think that it’s not a bad thing for community members to question whether the conversation has gone to far.
I really like when they put the lotion on the skin…
But seriously, and back on topic (kinda), what would be the right thing to wear to be memorable in conventions? I read on a random blog about a guy that would always wear orange shoes. Great idea or too much?
I thought about having a small brazilian flag attached or sewn into my suit or shirt. People would recognize me and remember where I come from. Too tacky?
I have some white female friends, and even though they are young and they take care of themselves, but their arms and cheeks seem “rougher” than ours. I always thought it’s because the tiny hair on their skins, but it could be pore count? i don’t know… it’s the first time i’ve heard of that.
