Blake did a marvelous job of encouraging group cohesion (just about everyone was willing to take a shot at him). But his dust-ups with Numi were the best.
Good times, good times…

Curious to know, what happened?
rahul roy vs. Analyst Forum
how’d that happen?
Oh that guy! Forgot all about him, we had a duel once.
Yeah, I’m long-term bearish on the “the West” in general (which includes Japan), but especially so on “Amerika”.
BS vs. MLA

I would say BS is winning in principle but MLA is killing it in style. Go guys, go!
they pay big bucks for style not principle. priests have principle. justin bieber has style.
How did the BS/MLA feud evolve? I see BS claiming that MLA doesn’t understand anything, and while BS does seem to know his stuff, MLA has always been pretty knowledgeable and coherent, and I imagine MLA would have gotten his ass fired multiple times by now if he had consistently screwed up everything the way BS claims.
The fact is that there are many ways to make money in markets and even opposite arguments can be “right” (i.e. profitable) in different time frames. I don’t get what the spat is about. Although BS does seem to have ramped up his “I know X; all you other guys are idiots” mantra. It used to be only about military matters and gun control; now it’s about everything markets. I admit that he knows a lot of stuff and most of his arguments look solid on the surface (I dont’ have time to evaluate all of them to be sure), but that doesn’t mean no one else knows anything, nor that conflicting perspectives are automatically wrong.
bchad, in my gang, you shall be called ‘Chief Rationalizer’
MLA is AF’s equivalent of CNBC’s talking head. Sounds coherent, translates into nothing concrete and rationalizes his simplistic understanding and wrongness with strawmen later. It’s not really a fued so much as me rubbing the outcome of the discussion in. Also, it’s not all things markets now, just guns, military and metals.
BS is just mad because i slept with his wife. she couldn’t deal with an angry hulk anymore and wanted a human man. i fit the bill.

Does she also like anal?

That’s a terribly un-Canadian thing to say.
At least say you poured maple syrup all over her first.

Future wife, no?
i tried to make a softcore joke and you guys got all hard. also, making jokes is the most Canadian thing possible. that and backdoor maple syrup romps.

I don’t know why…but somehow I always thought you were gay (like homosexual)…just something about your posts. So, this post is kind of silly in my mind. More power to you if you are…no judgement…just thought it was interesting.
Edit: Maybe it was just the MATT LIKES ANALysis. I dunno…weird.
heteros can like backdoor stuff too you know. not gay, but live around toronto so gay influence is major. plus i’m a thespian. his wife enjoyed it.
Not married, man. Would it kill you to get a fact straight?
you’re modern day married. you have a kid with a chick. same deal. it’s more insulting to say i slept with your wife rather than your gf and i figured you would’ve married the poor girl by now. give her a break if she’s walking funny.
I didn’t like the anal joke, sorry Mike. Seemed unnecessary.
Maple syrup as Canadian lube was funny, though.
