Best Burger

^In and Out is somewhat better than McDonald’s, but definitely below Whataburger. I really don’t know what all the hype is about.

I ate at White Castle once, and thought it was good, but it definitely gave me GI issues afterward. It was good, but not great, and if I’m in the northeast, there’s plenty of places I’d rather go.

In N Out is the best, hands down. If you disagree you’re probably a communist.

Greenman, I’ve never tried In and Out but I never got the big deal about Whataburger. They’re not bad but I’m not a huge fan. Unless it’s like a burger over $10, no one really stands out to me.

In N Out is more fatty greasy than Five Guys or Habit. I also find it to be very salty. In terms of burger taste, In N Out is comparable to Shake Shack. I do think the burgers are good, though, even if I prefer other chains.

In addition, In N Out is always swarming with high school and college kids. When I was in school, I went to In N Out a lot. However, now, I think I need to change to a new scene.

Bud’s Broiler. Not exactly a growth story, but if you’re ever near one of their maybe five locations.

White Castle is disgusting. The quality is akin to digging in garbage bins of legit burger joints and making a burger from that.

5 guys definitely overrated agree.

the sauce is what keeps the big mac going strong, and Shake Shack also has a sauce that keeps people goign back

Are you from New Orleans area?

How dare you turn your back on your fellow brown & yellow brothas Harold and Kumar!!!

Respect.

Anyone try Wahlburgers? (brought to you by the Wahlberg bros)

5 Guys is pretty bad in my opinion.

I enjoyed Minetta Tavern’s $28 Black Label Burger (NYC) – but of course this isn’t a mass market burger.

I’ve frequented a few drive thru daiquiri shops in my time.

Best burger I ever had ws a place in Manchester Ct called Shady Glenn. They’d take a burger and put 4 pieces of cheese over it (picture a large square made up of 4 smaller squares, with the burger dead center). The cheese would end up fried, and the burger would come looking like it was in a fried cheese basket. Break the cheese pieces off, and cover with onions and hot mustard. Outstanding.

Five Guys burgers lack salt…always feel like something is missing in there…

We had a Culver’s in San Antonio. They’re big in the Midwest, I think. For a national chain, I thought they had good food.

^Culver’s is really good. They started in Wisconsin I think. We got them down here a while ago. They go the ultra-thin patty route. Tons of butter too. Can’t go wrong with tons of butter.

“I am so so New Orleans, like 1825 Tulane”

Winsteads in Kansas City. Been living next to one of these for a few months, disappointed that I rarely went there.

I’m not a big salt kind of guy. I never grew up with food caked in salt, so I nearly never use it.
