I would avoid eating a burger in London on August 5th. Not even cause it’s fake meat, but to avoid a bunch of strangers watching me.
The 5-ounce burger, created by Mark Post from Maastrict University in the Netherlands, will be fed to an unknown diner whose reaction will be seen in front an invitation-only crowd.
Overpriced is a reference to value, Flint, not abosolute price. There’s a huge difference, and I feel bad that you don’t understand it.
I’d gladly pay double for a burger from the Pup, but I think 5 guys’ burgers should be on parity with an angry whopper from BK. Both 5 guys and an angry whopper are better than the value offerings at MCD or BK, but they shouldn’t command a premium price point.
That being said, I’m not sure which burger is more over-rated, 5 guys or Kuma’s.
On the other thread, Kanuck mentioned Whataburger. I invite all you non-Texas Yankees to come down and try it. It’s the best fast-food burger you can get, IMO.
My brother-in-law was part of a group that went all over FWAD (Fort Worth-Arlington-Dallas) and rated burgers in the area. They had a Whataburger Rule - if a burger isn’t better than Whataburger, it doesn’t get a rating.
Ive been trying many burgers lately…and hittin the gym extra hard because of it…but I gotta say it…Five guys is really the shiz. Eff you guys who think its overrated. I havent tryed In N Out doe.
