I don’t know if it’s like this in other cultures but in Asian cultures Asian people seem to like to dis other Asians who can’t speak the language.
Ya, I think this is the case sometimes. But the thing is I’m a blue-eye whitie so it is okay (I can speak a little Korean but they won’t be expecting and I won’t be revealing!). Which brings up benefit 6) Korean babes marveling at the blue-eyed novelty from far off land, “can we touch him”?
Oh, in that case you’re guaranteed to be talked about behind your back the entire week then, even if you did speak Korean.
