What matters is that Trump has executive experience, not just how he started. If you’re hiring someone to fly a plane, you would only care that they have flown a plane before, not how they got into plane flying.
This is not an endorsement - I’m just saying the fact that Trump had a rich dad is over used to detract from his background.

I think it is particularly relevant though, as he throws out how successful he is and how THAT makes him qualified. If he is stating that as why he is qualified it is certainly legitimate to question how good of an executive he was isnt it?
I still would have loved Hill Dawg to go down in flames with enough time to spare for BBG to enter the race. Trump couldnt run on his business experience as BBG is far more successful than him.
Trump’s core argument is that he has knowledge (“I know the system better than anyone”), and that he is a good negotiator (“I will get such a good deal”). Both of these claims are debatable, but they are path independent. Trump doesn’t deny that he inherited money, and knowing what to do with such an amount using such a complex organization as he runs is one definition of success.
To your point - Americans have this ideology that people are better if they start with less. So certainly, Trump’s inheritance is not in line with the experiences of most Americans. From my point of view, however, Trump’s inheritance just put him in an atypically fortunate position to learn new skills; most other people simply cannot be exposed to those things, no matter how genius they are. In addition, based on how he has increased his wealth, he clearly did not squander that opportunity.
I read this as: Decriminalizing drug use (ok not bad, depends what drugs) and dealing (eh. not sure about this one). Decriminalizing prostitution (ok not bad) Making this retroactive to those already incarcerated (not sure) Guaranteed minimum income for all black people (WTF?) Free college and payment of all living expenses and healthcare costs for all black people including those who are undocumented or incarcerated (WTF This is a joke right?) Tax high earners 80%, increase capital gains tax, increase estate tax create an anti-speculation tax (LOL!) Pass a $2 to $4 trillion policy that would create government jobs for Blacks (Isn’t it ironic that these demands are literally demanding the system to become racist in favor of blacks?)
