The portfolio managers on the show are definitely very intelligent and knowledgeable. However, when they make their recommendations, how many of you guys actually believe that they’re giving their best picks or good picks at all. I would suspect that if they have a tremendous idea, they problably wouldn’t go on television to reveal it unless they were looking to prop up the stock and dump.

On the flipside though, if they had a wonderful idea, why wouldn’t they want to share it, especially in the event it ended up being very successful? That’s career benefitting stuff right there. Take that 5 minute segment, upload it to youtube, mail that link to anywhere you’re considering working, let it serve as your interview, kick back and relax.
