Book 6 Scores

Its doable I am avging an 84 on volume 1 tests 1pm,2am,2pm,3am. I think cfanano you underestimate some ppl…and mainly yourself.

All I know that I’m not even scoring >70 yet and that pisses me off. 80% is 48 questions right out of 60, now why is that impossible?

i know my 80% was ‘real’ .because i got it right after a quarrel with the wife and my mind wasnt even concentrating on the test.

This discussion is beneath all of us.

Final Scores: Exam 1 AM - 43/60 - 73% Exam 1 PM - 50/60 - 83% Exam 2 AM - 52/60 - 87% Exam 2 PM - 45/60 - 75% Exam 3 AM - 49/60 - 82% Exam 3 PM - 45/60 - 75% CFA Exam 2006 - 82/96 - 85% Sample Exam 1 - 23/30 - 77% Sample Exam 2 - 20/30 - 67% Sample Exam 3 - 21/30 - 70% Total Average Score: 79% I’ll be honest - I’m a little petrified to take the mocks - after i bombed the 3 pm exam - got royally screwed in Quant, PM, and one other vignette…so gonna spend the next day hitting my weak topics and quickly reviewing the remaining - hopefully will take both mocks on monday… I hope that’s not too late!

Those are some solid scores! I would hardly call 75% a bomb. If you write the mock Monday, you will have 4 days to revise, review. You’re in great shape.

No reason to be worried mumukada, these scores are just excellent. I would kill to score 75% on the PM exam!

75 on 2AM, but i did feel completely lost on huge portions. good, educated guesses, i suppose.

I’m with you mcpass. Struggling to break 70 but lucky for us practice exams are not the real thing.

I have been doing okay on Schweser but got a 65% on the 2006 Exam. The real test will be tomorrow when I do the mock. I think I have Schweser figured out. If only they made the exam.

75% on 2afternoon… although i’d done the ethics before and so i gave myself 67%. unlike the morning exam, i wasn’t pulling my hair out or feeling lost. a bunch of 5’s and 6’s out of 6. on the ethics, why’s it a violation to have the equity analyst involved in marketing an equity deal? have i remember Q and Answer correctly.

I think its b/c they can’t be working with Bankers…

Just rocked an 83 on B7 1am. Even though I’m happy with my score, I wasn’t a huge fan of the test - typical book 7 stuff.

You mean questions like is John correct by saying that Peter’s statement against the standard is incorrect?

Schweser-Book-6-EXAM-2-AM: 50/60 = 83% (Killed on: Quant) Schweser-Book-6-EXAM-2-AM: 38/60 = 63% (Killed on: CorpFin(M&A synergies), PM(ICAPM), Ethics(as usual)) The good thing I like about Schweser exams is that they are covering every aspect of it. So you hit some (ones that we are good at) and you miss some (the ones at which you suck), at the end of the day - It’s the LEARNING that matters and the goal points you drove home by understanding the mistakes and re-assuring the correct ones. Hopefully the final show would be a much better synchronized event Ok… where’s that thing called bed?
