Book for FX Trading

Any good books that covers FX trading? Preferably something that tells a bit more of a story (biography of a FX trader) rather than textbook type.

They’re all currently in poverty I believe.

Its almost unethical, I think, for brokerage firms to try and push their customers into currency trading like some have been doing AND THEN give the trading interface this casino-type atmosphere.

I forget which brokerage it is that advertises 24 hour trading and “only six tradable pairs” as a great advantage of FX trading. Great! Few opportunities to diversify risk, and you never get to sleep again… It really is close to unethical to push people in that direction. Barry Ritholtz had a post on his blog about it. The title was something like: “One word of advice for retail FX traders: Don’t!” Technically, that’s a contraction of two words, but the point is valid.

Not looking for retail “get rich quick” stories. Trying to get an understanding of the FX trading desk environment at a bank or other market makers. I imagine it’s different from other trading desks, but I’m really not sure.

is FX really that bad - don’t some people do well?
