Books/Resources on Technical Analysis

Can anyone recommend good books/resources on technical analysis? I’m new to this concept, so prerably something that’s not too thick or hard to read for a newbie. Thanks

www.stockcharts.com is a good start check out their education section

read John J Murphy book “Technical analysis of financial markets”

I think “Technical Analysis for Dummies” is pretty good!

I’m a trader and I would say that if you’re only going to use technical analysis, you’re probably going to lose more money than you make. You need to have a complete way of looking at the markets, entries and exits, and use money/risk management to control your losses. Murphy’s book is like a bible for technical analysis, but I learned a lot more about trading from “Trade your way to financial freedom” by Van Tharp.

Alexander Elder’s book, “Come into my trading room” is great, and it spends time covering some of the essentials of risk control, which, as jmh suggested above, is actually more important than the technical analysis part.
