I did not take level 2 after passing level 1 since I got married, then I took Level 2 and did not pass, although did not take it very serious. Now my boss has told me it will be in my development plan this year. He is a charterholder and constantly tells me how he passed all 3 on the first try. I then ask him, is he trying to say he is better at getting results because of this??? VIOLATION!! Anyway, anyone else have endless pressure from their boss? I cant see how he can put this in my evaluation. It was never mentioned when I was hired.
i would think if they paid for the exam, study materials, or gave you time off (not from your pto bank, that is)… it could go on your development plan. but if your company had nothing to do with you taking the exam, then id think it wouldnt go on your development plan though… kind of a question for HR, heh.
I wish my boss was a CFA charterholder.
