Brain teaser

First person to figure it out wins a prize. If you’ve already done the question be a sport and don’t throw the answer out there. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out. You are in a room with 3 light switches. One of the light switches turns on a light bulb in a room adjacent to the room with the switches. The other 2 switches do nothing. 3 conditions: You may flick the switches as many times as you want and however you want. You can enter the room with the bulb only once and once your there you cannot leave. There is only a step ladder in the room with the bulb. How do you find out which of the three switches turns the light bulb on in the other room?
