Morning exposed all my weaknesses…but the good part is now I really know where to focus. Morning: 40 % ish Afternoon 70% not great but then not bad for only having done the first read and Stalla Q’s I hate pensions
ruff exam I got 51% morning and 49% in afternoon. Still have A LOT of studying for this damn thing
crap. it must have been brutal. and this is the test everyone says is usually closest to the real thing??
where can i find these tests please?
http://www.bsas.org/education/education_detail.asp?program_id=93 wonder2008…the above link is for the mock exam to be held in Boston in a couple of weeks. I purchased and downloaded the exam from the website, so you’ll have to search the site if you want the PDF version. cfasf1 - for L1, I thought it was harder that the real thing, but close in terms of qualitative vs quantitative questions. I got a 69% in the morning and 61% in the afternoon for the L1 practice exam. I just can’t wait to take the L2 BSAS…
L2 BSAS Mock Morning: 60% Afternoon: 63% Prep: read Schweser once. A lot more to do!
Hmm 65 in the morning and 66.5 in the afternoon. Not too encouraging, but that’s a good thing at this point - still a month left!
too many questions I missed because they referenced to a wring answer from a previous question.
Won’t happen on the real thing Sims. CFAI website states that each question, though based on the same data in the vignette, is indepedent of each other.
Do they have something like this in NYC?

Yet if you look carefully at the actual level II exam questions from previous exams that were released for the first time as part of the end of chapter questions this year, you’ll find that’s not always the case. John Harris says that some of the prep providers called them out on this fact and the CFAI didn’t really have a good answer.
Really? I took the website at face. Do you remember what section of the 2006 exam this was in? And I am still hanging on another thread…I asked how everything was going and you left me with me hand in the air (looks around to make sure no one see him).
dmoxson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do they have something like this in NYC? Yes… On May 31. Go to nyssa.org. They offer the BSAS exam. I think that’s a little late, however. The Stamford (CT) CFA Society offers the BSAS exam this Saturday – just a 45 minute express train from Grand Central. Go to http://www.stamfordcfa.org/
I have the old BSAS exams.
Quick question to those who purchased the online version. Is it a CFAI-like test, ie answer on line only, or do I download questions and answers before and can take the test on a paper version? Thanks in advance for the answer.

You need to print the test from the website. I don’t recall if it was in PDF, but I either printed as a PDF and saved or I saved the PDF.
