Here’s a pretty good article where Buffet talks a little bit about his company and the markets in the future. The middle section about Pension Benefits caught me by surprise as I just finished this reading in the curriculum (Reading 24). Pretty good timing…It’s very rewarding to study something and then understand someone like Warren Buffet in a way you wouldn’t have before reading.
Skip the CNN article and go straight to the source. There’s all this utterly useless press out about Buffet every year when he publishes his annual shareholder letter. This is really sort of funny because the thing is so straightforward and accessible that it requires very little interpretation (not that you could call what today’s TV journalist provide as “interpretation” even on their best days). Best thing CNN could have done is just put the darn headline up there and given everyone the link to his letter (which they did not even include in their article).
