Burning out....need motivation!!

I have not done much study in the past 2 days…really need some motivation to knuckle down in the final 2 weeks.

I’m in the same shoes as you. It gets weary and tiresome. Each time i pick up a note to revise, i get this lost paradoxical feeling of knowing too much already and at the same time knowing only too little. It’s a brain depleting task!!

But we’ve got to keep pushing man, a couple of more weeks and life can resume again …even if for a short time.

I guess the nice thing to look forward to is that if luck is on your side, this time next year, you could be preparing for your CFA level 3  …now that’s all the motivation needed!!

I’ve totally lost it. Strippers on wednesday, hangover on thursday, drunk on friday, and about 14 hours of black ops 2 over the weekend. The worst part is I don’t even feel guilty… Ah well, I’ve got from Friday until the exam booked off so hopefully get something done by then.

Honestly, the only motivation I have to pass at this point is that I get refunded the ~1600 for exam/schweser if I pass.

blackops 2 ?! haha how old are you chibwack…and is the game any good?

Agreed. I am losing motivation fast. Too much info

26, I’m not a big gamer by todays standard but I’m pretty sure the burnout just pushed me to sit my ass down on that couch and not leave haha. But yep, it’s pretty good. All I do is multiplayer, and its pretty much the typical CoD experience with a few different toys to play with.

Isn’t the refund motivation enough? Plus the fact that you’re 1/3 of the way there!

Guys, don’t give up now. You’ve all been studying for the past 4-6 months. It would be a shame to not pull through. As for me, I’m taking it in June 2013 so I got lots of time.

me too no I’m starting to resent the exam! When I felt this way in undergrad it was a sign that I was ready to write the exam, but this time I feel like I have a huge list of things I want to work on/memorize and I’m just sooo sick of it crying it’s neverending there is always more to improve crying

/end whining.

Even i am not able to study as much as before :frowning:

Glad to know I’m not the only one in this boat haha. Yeah I remember feeling roughly like this during finals seasons, but thats when I’d close the books and go watch a movie or something without really caring. And i was (almost) a straight A student. Don’t really think that approach is going to work on a professional exam…

What is the todays standard?
