Calculator Reminder

Make sure you can remember how to reset the decimal places on your calculator. When doing the micro attribution the numbers can get pretty small as in, many decimal places. Just took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to reset the decimal places. That would suck if it happened in the exam.

Just press the yellow button and then #9 to get that thing full of zeros. BTW, do we need calculator, I tought mental math would take me through.

On TI BA-II Plus: 2nd --> Format (above the decimal point) then enter the number of decimals you want and press enter. What is everyone’s default number of decimal places? I’ve kept mine set to 4 since Level 1.

6

Is there a good reason not to use floating? i.e. 0 on BA II

0 on BA II Plus Professional doesn’t seem to float for me – it gives me 0 places for everything! I’d love floating. If someone knows how, please let me know!

I am on 6 since L2, BAII+.
