Calculator Worries

I have the BAII Plus Professional and i’ve had it for a little less than two years now and I can’t help but worry about how long the battery lasts - is this a legitimate concern? Just thinking of how horrible it would be if the thing died on Saturday. Is it worth buying a spare battery?

I would say yes. And/or get a second or see if you can borrow one from someone so you have two.

haha a spare battery is like $6 at Staples, this should be the last of your worries. I always buy 2 the day before the test, swap out the old one for a new one and take the extra new one into the exam just in case. I have also seen a lot of people bringing in two calculators into the exam.

I bought myself a battery and a screwdriver…prepare for the worst!

i’m the same way. i bring 2 calcs AND and extra battery

Me too. Since, meanwhile I bought more one, I even wonder to bring 3 calculators and 3 pockets of battery.

I always like to feel ridiculously. The only worry, since is really hot in the city, is I’m going to have to juggle carrying all of it in my hands.

I bought 2 calc for level 1, and one of them is as good as new. If both of them stop working during the exam then I will accept that some higher power doesnt want me to pass.

3 calculators… seriously people…

Buy a new BA2 plus from target and bring it as a secondary. After the test you can exchange/ return at target with open box. Target has a really great return polciy.
