Which calculator is good BA II plus or BA II Plus Professional? Buying the BA II Plus will be sufficient or not for the CFA Exam
BA II plus is definitely sufficient. The prof does give you a couple of additional functions, e.g., NFV, but none that are “necessary”
^Agreed. The Professional is aesthetically pleasing, but it offers absolutely no additional functionality.

No need to complicate things.
I have both but I use BA2 plus only as the keys are softer than BA2 pro. The only thing I find good about BA2 pro is that you don’t need to use screwdriver to replace the battery cell.
I think that’s a good enough reason to get it. I bought the professional because at the time on Amazon it was only a couple bucks more than the regular and I liked the look of it more.
Get the BA2 pro - and then also get the app for your iPhone … my favourite app!
If you cant decide, just get the hp!
BA2 Plus= softer keys and better case.
BA2 Pro= a couple more functions and easier to change the battery.
verdict= if the pro is only a few dollars more, get it. Otherwise, the plus is fine.
on a side note, I’d love to see someone bring an abacus as a joke. It would be great to see the proctors scramble to see what to do.
