California unemployment jumping to 7.7 % in August.

Ten of California’s 58 counties now have reached double digits in jobless rates. The worst is Imperial County, where one out of every four people in the job force is out of work. wow… one in four?? There might be some issues in CA soon. I’m reluctant anyway- US economy is a mess, but CA economy is a true sh*tstorm.

Imperial county is a dead zone right now. But I guess in the long term it will come back. LA has expanded for real into Riverside like cities and there is no turning back.

Could be worse, Michigan is at 8.9%, up from 8.5%

There are a lot of illegals in Cali…maybe they are counting them as well. Not many construction jobs out there.

California is responsible for 13 percent of the United States gross domestic product … 1.7 trillion in 2007 - wiki …and illegals are not part of the official workforce.
