Absolutely.

There is a big Haitian community where I’m from so I went to highschool with a lot of them. I ended up being good friends with 2 of them that attended my university.

3 years ago, I went to a singles cruise (for 20 and 30 year olds). None of my friends were willing or able to go (I booked last minute). When you don’t have a roomate they book you randomly with someone from the same sex (unless you pay the higher fee to room alone). He ended up being a black guy from Tampa. He was a great wingman and great help when I hooked up with a blond from Indiana. If he lived in my town, there’s no doubt we would hang out and become friends as we have enough in common.

Yes.

You can be friends with someone based on appearances or "PC"ness only so long. You have to hit it off. And there is no restriction of race or age or gender about that.

You don’t see no red birds and blue birds hanging out together, do ya? Mother Nature knows best.

(Believe it or not, I know someone who has actually used this as a reason blacks and whites shouldn’t marry.)
