Can Buffett pass CFA-II?

To relieve the stress… I am thinking to myself if the bigwigs in the Finance can pass level II? Warren, Lloyd, Vikram, Jamie etc…? But again they dont need to they have CFAs working for them to provide the advise needed. Just a thought!!

Anybody can pass L2. Stuff is not hard but it just too much to retain and spit in 6 hours. Warren, Lloyd, Vikram, Jamie etc…? - opportunity cost for them is just too much.

Buffett basically memorized “Security Analysis” for class in grad school. He purportedly knew the word for word version of that book better than Ben Graham (the author and his teacher).

he doesn’t need to. we need to. So !

Buffett is beyond the CFA curriculum. I’m willing to bet he’d fail the second half of the material. Why? Because he doesn’t like it in terms of practicality. Who’d blame him? PM is a mess of esoteric theories…

buffet would urge CFAI to delete portfolio management part and only test “margin of safety” in the exam.

Buffet owns Washington Post, which owns Kaplan, which bought Schweser, who is making more money on us if we fail. So we have to pass, then we can beat buffet at some point. My suggestion is to make buffet buy CFAI!!! that’s a good investment without too much risk. Diversification is the goal!

If he put in 250 hours.

Haha if he already owns Schweser, owning CFAI would provide little diversification.

Who’s Buffett?

i liked Alimen last comment

Can Buffett pass CFA-II? First, he have to clear CFA - I

Buffett can fail every single finance test from here on and he will still be better off than all of us - combined.

he will also still be older than all of us - combined. I’ll betcha Buffett would give up 100% of his wealth to be my age (or yours)

Are you kidding - or you are just plain oblivious to financial world!

It was meant to be a joke.
