can cash flows be allocated to time periods other than those in which they occur? can you give an example? thanks

umm, cash flow happens as and when cash is received or paid.

for cash that is received or paid 2 yrs ago, must be accounted for 2 yrs ago. under no circumstances you can account it at other time periods.

actually the answer is yes, but I can’t find explanation. I know cash flow is very difficult to manipulate, but we need a more knowledgeable accountant to explain this question
