Can someone please tell me the fomular for the P(fail test | non-survivor) = [0.45 − 0.15(0.60)]/0.40?

If you look at the line above, they are just doing some algebra to isolate P(fail test/non-survivor) and substituting 0.15 for P(fail test/survivor).
