A novel by Frederick Forsyth – The Kill List. A mediocre piece of work. The concept though is interesting. An online anonymous preacher exhorting his followers the world over to kill non believers. Only in this case the follower should do everything on his own.confide in no one. make his own plans and execute them and not involve anyone else. some even made videos before carrying out the attack. there is no terrorist organisation involved. this is as far as fiction goes.

talking about ISIS, has anyone actually seen the beheading videos that are causing such a storm?
One of my mates is a conspiracy theory twat (we all have one of those mates) and he showed me them on his phone and they look totally fake. Basically they all run like
ISIS boy rant in dumb midlands accent, cut to hostage speech, cut to 2 second long clip of ISIS boy sawing at fast pace on hostage’s neck with no visible cutting or blood, cut to photo of hostage head sitting on stomach which looks photoshopped.
Don’t know if anyone has posted this yet - brave Canadians! (Too bad they were basically bringing spears to a gunfight…)

I haven’t seen the beheading videos, but I did see the mass execution videos, which took several hours to shake off the effects of. After watching those, I find the beheadings to be almost tame (though I still don’t want to watch them), and am pretty ready to support almost any action that aims to stop them.
