Canadian retail bank

what is the best bank for your personal account/personal banking (in Vancouver, for example)… CIBC, TD, RBC? Does anyone have a preference and why?

TD, most convenient, most branches, open the longest. RBC is a rip off. they even admit it implicitely from how they approach the retail markets. I presume you’re not super wealthy.

you’ve presumed correctly. looks like I might go with TD…

I switched from RBC to TD (the customer service at the former was a joke!); I hear good things about Scotiabank too. There’s little to differentiate among banks, so the dividing factor for most is the customer service.
