Hi folks, I have signed up for the December exam from Singapore. I am from India. When would I need to start applying for Visa etc? It is not clear from the writeup on the CFA website. Thanks
I have been to Singapore, but for different purposes. I think getting a visa, particularly if it for a few days, should not be a problem. But, to be on the sure side, apply a more or so in advance…
sorry, meant month* not more…hehe
I gave my Level-II this time in Singapore. Visa process takes about 2 weeks. You can get it done through your travel agent.
Visa process takes 3 days. But it is always better & safer to apply atleast 2-3 weeks in advance. The visa would be a visitor visa or a socal visit pass. You can always contact a local travel agent there and they will help you out.
Mine took 10 days to process. It seems they issue your visa based on the date you are traveling. and there is a maximum limit on the number of visas that are issued per day. Do it through your travel agent in November. chk the link for further details http://www.ica.gov.sg/services_centre_overview.aspx?pageid=252&secid=165 there is also a link on the top right in case you want to submit it on your own. But going through an agent is more advisable.
