Can't update education section

Guys,

I’m experiencing the following situation: I’ve passed Level 1 exam last december but when I tried to register for Level 2 there were even no link for registration - I just changed year of graduating my universtity (just to have a look) - and this link appeared.

Surely I knew that I was not allowed to register for Level 2 and that’s why I just postponed registration till next June (2013). But didn’t chnange year of graduation immedaiately - and now I can’t chagne date to real one since there is no button “edit” on the education screen.

Has anyone faced same problems ?

And if I’m not able to change this date will CFA Institute ever check this ?

Just emai CFAI, they’re pretty quick to fix these things. They updated my passport info in about 12 hours, and that was right after the June exams. Don’t know if they’ll check it, but its best to have accurate info just in case.

If I remember correctly - the edit and delete links appear when you are in the process of registering (as one of the sections) - not very sure though - you can give it a try.

did you lie about your graduation year when you took L1?

Before L1 I had put that my graduation was in may because when i registered I dint know. I was able to fix this to June when registering for L2.

No when registring for Level 1 I didn’t lie.

When I tried to have a look on LEvel 2 registration no links were appeared and I worried why it could happen, my guess was that my year of graduation doesn’t fit - I just wanted to check it and actually I did but I didn’t register for Level 2.

So, were you able to change it back to the original date ?

Even I am suffering from the same mistake. Could you please suggest me on what can be done ?
