i’m working in a high tech corp firm as a financial analyst and taking CFA level 2 exam. i also have a master degree in econ. if i want to maximize the benefit (of my career) of my hard work in CFA, should i stay working in non-finance public firm? is there anyway that i don’t have to change my career completely and start from entry level?
I’m not trying to be a smart ass and I’m far from a seasoned vet in the finance field but “get in where you fit in.” In this job market it seems like the people in finance can’t even keep their jobs. Just apply to jobs you like…it’s not going to be easy though, and I don’t think you’d start out as “entry level.”
