I am looking into some Financial Leadership/Development Programs at F500 companies, which are basically 2-3 year rotational programs throughout different areas in corporate finance (FP&A, audit, etc…). I would like to eventually get into corporate development, but I am wondering if it is possible without direct IB experience? I definitely have no interest in doing FP&A for a career, but figured it would be a good place to start, then get MBA and move into something more… challenging. Anyone do this/planning on it/have advice?
