They are not allowed in the testing area, but I’ve noticed the last two years people leave them with the proctors as they enter the exam area. Is this still the case this year? Are people bringing their cells?

Im taking it in NYC, so no car. I think last year I left it in my pocket turned off. The prior year I didn’t bring it.

That could get your name on the wall of shame and your exam results voided. (or worse) 1 count of felony possession of an electronic device.
If you don’t leave it in the room for possessions, just raise your hand during the procedures when they demand everyone turn over your cell phone. At that time a proctor will hold on to it.
