CFA books....

I was jsut wondering if we get the CFA books when we register for the exam, or do we need to purchase them seperatley? I want to start studying ahead of time, but can’t register for the Dec. exam until Feb. So, should I buy the CFA books now, or read Schweser for 2 months (that is if they are going to send me their books once I reguister)

they are included in the registration “package” - no need to acquire them separately

So would it be alright, or even worth it, to use Schweser ahead of time, without the CFA to cross reference with?

most people do not need the CFA Institute Curriculum for level I outside of ethics. ethics is provided on the CFA website at no cost. i passed using schweser, only. depends on your background.
