The one thing is, he hasn’t gotten the materials yet to read, including ethics, but man… I totally hear you buddy. Can’t be claiming things before you get them. Maybe it’s a language thing. I took much of my exams in non-English speaking countries. Hope he gets straightened out soon, cheers👍
Yes you are right. He may have just registered and gotten the clearance.
To op: If you are a L1 candidate, please change your status immediately. You can’t refer yourself as Charterholder appended after your name( assuming that is what it is).Otherwise you are in gross violation of the ethical standards. You just had a brush with the institute because of the faux pas which the institute was happy to overlook. Don’t expect to get lucky second time around. You could refer yourself as “CFA Level I Candidate” after you have enrolled for the program and got the clearance
Secondly, consider doing away with your profile picture. Not recommended.
