CFA Exams Canceled in Beirut

This sure would suck… CFA Exam Cancelled in Beirut The Ministry of Education has ordered all schools and universities in Lebanon to be closed Saturday, 6 June and Monday, 8 June 2009. Because of this mandate, we are cancelling the June 2009 CFA exams in Beirut. We will make every effort to hold the Level I CFA exam in Beirut in December 2009, and all three levels in Beirut in June 2010. If you are registered to take the exam and you would like to defer your registration to a future CFA exam, you don’t need to do anything. This is the default option and we will process your deferral unless you select a test center change or refund below. We will contact you later this month with more information. We are also making the following options available: * Candidates may travel to a different test center for the June 2009 exam. See a full listing of June 2009 test centers (PDF), and if desired, request a different test center for the June 2009 exam. * Candidates may cancel their registration and receive a full refund of applicable CFA Program fees. Contact us to cancel your registration. Refund requests must be received by 19 June 2009. We understand how important the CFA exam is to you, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience this will cause. http://www.cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/resources/testcenterupdate.html
