Anyone participate in the CFA Institute Research Challenge? Thoughts? Experiences if you’ve done it? Worth it? I’m a final year Bachelor’s student, so i was thinking participating in this would be good for my resume.
If you’re planning to work in research, I could see this being a good discussion point for interviews.
I had never heard of this contest till very recently, but it would be a good incentive for you to prepare an investment idea which is something you’ll need for buy-side interviews. And, you’re also early enough in your career where maybe having this on your resume could make a positive difference.
