I am looking into the CFA iPhone Apps. Before I buy one I was wondering if anyone had used any of them. From what I can tell CFA Formula (www.cfaformula.com) looks like the best one. But I was hoping to hear feedback from anyone had actually used one of them. Thanks for your input.
I got the CFA Formula and I think it’s pretty good so far. The formula list is quite comprehensive. I kind of wish it had a list where you could browse by LOS and that you could make an exact list of flashcards to be tested on. But overall, quite a useful app.
I ended up buying the CFA Formula App and I am pretty happy with it. It is pretty much what I expected it to be; definately a helpful tool to have.
LOL I didn’t know such a thing existed. Sounds like a waste of money! Read Schweser 4 times instead and do some exercises!
I disagree. I feel like it’s very useful to have a well organized list of formulas you can have with you at all times in addition to any prep materials. Plus this is $25, which is a fraction of the cost of any other study materials. A useful addition as far as I’m concerned.

Are their any other apps available that are not simply formula based?
beamer978: The CFA Formula you talked about - was it created by Quantum Guides? www.quantum-guides.com If it’s the same thing you are talking about, I bought it after my coworker insisted I do so and I like it. Also, these guys get an A+ for customer service. I viewed their contact page and wrote them a question. Got a helpful response back right away.
