CFA may no longer get you a job. But the knowledge is as relevant as ever. you took the CFA for the wrong reason.

You post a statement that the CFA willl no longer get you a job (as a matter of fact) and apparently imply that people take the CFA for the relevant knowledge, yet you post a simple thread on how to “get in” as a buyside analyst (which is a reasonable question BTW).

TAO5, CFA on its own won’t get you a job. CFA is a minimum requirement these days at least from what i see. my question about getting in Buyside is more to do with the economics/politics of the industry. i don’t see what you’re implying.
