Hi Guys, As most of you would know entry into level 2 requires a Bachelor degree or 4 years professional investment experience. Yet one criteria they listed (not sure if this is for entry into CFA program or can be used for level 2) stated they will accept 4 years college and/or job experience. I was supposed to get my degree, but I stopped school for one year to work in a investment banking boutique full time. I have tried emailing CFA but all they did was to redirect me. So now I have 3 years of college ( I need one more year to get my bachelors), and 1 year of professional work experience. My question is is there anyone on the forum with similar experience and was successful in appealing into the level 2? Really thankful for any advice I can get! (p.s I passed CFA level 1. And I dont intend to declare I already have a bachelors)
i’m not sure what anyone here can do for you submit your work experience to the cfa institute if they accept your experience and you actually have 3 years of college, call them up and request that they lift the restriction
Hmm was hoping that someone would be in the same situation as me so I can have ‘case studies’ to strengthen my arguement lol. Appreciate your reply supersharpshooter
