I felt the same way with a band 10 fail. Felt I did well in the am.

PASSED!!! I can’t believe it, still in shock!! I was a retaker for Level 3, first time about 425 hours, this second time I put in over 475. All in I found Level 3 to be a brutal beast! Thanks you to everyone on this site that has helped along the way!!

I was a band 10 last year and paid the $100 for the retab - no success. From what I understand the only way you are going to have success is if the results were clearly an error. E.g. I read of someone who had everything below 50% for a session and it was because of some error with his Scantron. If you read about the process, CFAI is really just counting the marks in the morning and ensuring your candidate # was correct. That is pretty much what a $100 retab gets you, not a total re-grade. I paid only for the sanity that I did everything possible to ensure it was correct; if it makes you feel better I suggest doing the same.
