I have purchased CFA Level III Crash Course from Arif Irfanullah and its super useful for covering all the concepts during the final moments of the exam. I highly recommend everyone to purchase the same from IFT website as it will serve both the purpose of saving time and clearing all the essential concepts needed in the exam. Its turning out to be exceptionally helpful to me!
Prince Akeem: Oh sir, the Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big “H”. It was a most ripping victory.
Cleo McDowell: Son, I’m only going to tell you this one time.
The videos are short and precise. They are very much to the point (it includes the major concepts that have been tested in the past). Each chapter is like 20-30 minutes in summary format. I also used his crash course for Level II as well and it proved critical for passing as I did not get much time last year for revision of LII exam.
PS: Its just my recommendation which can save time If anyone follows a different prep provider and is comfortable with it for revision, then nothing like that!
Agree – signed up last week and have found it very good value for $190 USD. I was already a big fan of Arif Irfanullah’s videos. Not many folks are both sharp and have a voice you can listen to for hours (Marc Lefebvre is another, for me). It looks like you get
About a 15-20 min video on each SS (intense summary). They’re releasing 1-2 a week, are up to Fixed Income, and the schedule has them finishing in 3 weeks.
Dozens of 5-15 min videos approaching a single AM question from the 2011-2015 exams. Again, they’re up to Fixed Income and on the same schedule.
2 AM mocks – no idea of the quality, but notice they add in lined sheets, which is actually no small thing, given the absurd number of people who fail because they hadn’t seen where the lined sheets are.
A tonne of study notes, broken down into parts of study sessions. Probably a few hundred pages there. I haven’t looked at these much as I bought it for the videos.
Very solid. Customer service was prompt and solid. For $190, very good deal.
I actually bought this course last week as well, mainly for audio during my daily commute to keep concepts flowing into my head as often as possible. The videos are downloadable which makes for converting them to MP3s a snap. Also, thanks to Arif’s heavy accept, I have to listen hard to make sure all the words are sinking in, which helps keep my mind from wandering while sitting in traffic.
Overall, so far so good. Seems to be a good value for some extra condensed material for 200 bucks. Slides for the videos are also provided in PDF format which can make some nice final review notes.
