Gooood afternoon (GMT time) I’m trying to apply for an internship in London and I’m now in the process of writing the covering letter. I have no previous experience as I have just graduated and started my Postgraduate studies straight after, so I don’t have a lot to say on my CV other than my academic achievements. I’m writing level 1 on June and I know it’s stupid and it doesn’t mean anything saying I’m trying to take the exam on the CV. but, is it ok just to mention it on the covering letter? Quite a long story for a simple question, but just to give u the whole story…
Just mention that you’re very interested in the field and have started the CFA program and will sit for the level 1 exam in June. It’s true that it’s hard to use it to evaluate skill until you’ve passed at least one level, but you can at least show interest and dedication by pointing out you are in the program.
That’s why I love this forum Thanks bchadwick this is really a smart way to mention it
Hey Bchad, did you get my emails?
Recent consensus on this forum is that CFA is something shameful that should be hidden at all costs from a prospective employer.
