Hi all, I’m a Level III Candidate and I’m applying to an accounting program at my old university. My grades were horrible in university but I’ve passed CFA level I and II on the first attempt and submitted my PDF’d results from level I and II to basically make up for my horrible grades. The admissions department have come back and requested that I get “official transcripts from CFA” and then they’ll decide if I get in or not. I called the CFA Institute, but they’re closed atm. Any ideas if CFA Institute issues anything like that?
There are no official CFA transcripts. This is the first time I have heard anyone try this before.
There you go, another revenue source for the CFAI: “For additional $250 per level get your official CFA transcripts.”
No, it’s pretty clearly stated that no one can ever see their actual results.
“Official transcripts from CFA” means the CFAI has to mail a letter indicating you passed Level I and II to your university.
I agree it makes sense. A transcript equivalent to the pass/fail screen could be an interesting document.
