hello , going to start studying for the CFA dec and i just got the CFA ciricullum . seems to big to start now , do u recommend getting the schweser and studying from it instead ? the books look lighter so im assuming its a faster process studying from them . thanks
no. unless you have a background in this stuff, you should use CFAI materials. my 2 c
Use schweser as a complement of the CFAs books. very helpful
As it has been stated, you should go through the CFAI texts first. If you find that you are comfortable enough with the material switch to Schweser. CFAI is in depth and if you are from a none finance background can give you a very strong base for the exam. IMHO.

honestly - with 3.5mths to go its going to be a real stretch getting through all of the CFAi texts and still leaving a month for revision. personally - id stick to schweser and try and do the CFAi+schweser back of book questions as you go. oh - and dont start with ethics.
