Guys i know that everyone is waiting for their results in the next few days and best of luck to everyone.
Having said that can someone olease help in exolaining how to list the cfa on my cv (expecting the charter requirements to be fulfilled by next year). Have passed all three exams on my first try. Should i say passed all exams on the first attempt?? Does that make a difference.
Please tell me as i like moat of u am pursuing the charter for a better job prospect in the mean world.
Until you can put the letters CFA after your name, your resume (not CV in America) should have a bullet somewhere that reads “Passed Level III”. That’s it.
If you have completed all three levels of the CFA Program, but have not completed the work experience requirement, you may state: "Passed all three levels of the CFA Program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience."
Do not use your candidacy in the Heading of your profile. Do not indicate an “Expected” date.
One possible status I didn’t see here mentioned yet is when you are in limbo, after having passed level 3, having the required work experience, and having submitted the formal application. “Passed all three levels of the CFA Program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience” doesn’t really apply because you already have the work experience.
Just plain “Passed all 3 CFA exams” or something similar is what it would have to be in that case, right? Granted it’s just a few weeks of time (hopefully), and it would be a temporary status until receiving the charter.
passed all three levels of the CFA programs in the shortest amount of time which guarantees knowledge in all aspects of finance and may lead to higher potential returns.
If there’s one thing that the CFA Insttute has done well, it’s that they’ve drilled into our heads, what is and is not a violation. They’ve done it so well that I’m too scared to even update the “About” section in my FB profile with my expected pass date
