Is anyone using the CFA Program Curriculum eBook? Is it useful?
I wanted to buy them but realized that they are not PDF. You have to download a software. So I didn’t buy but it should be exactly the same as curriculum books.
Back in June they had a sample on the website and I did not like the format so I passed, you should check the sample out if they still have it before choosing e-books over print imo. Then again, I’ve never been one to find e-learning too useful, I’d rather read from a ‘real’ book 
I bought ebook. I find it useful, because, I do not have carry the physical books. I can access them online from different places. Search for any term easily. That is the primary advantage.
I already received & download CFAI material, since U register to the exam U will receive an e-mail to download the book if U order electron copy. From my point of view, I’m using SCHWESER material and the point which I didn’t understand it I will check it in CFAI books. Simply the idea or concept will be explained in more details in CFAI book. I hope I added value to U.
Yer, the ebooks are compact and portable on your laptop. One distinctive advantage is that you can highlight the ebooks, create notes, delete highlights and notes, navigate to other books/ readings etc etc. I have been redaing the volume one over the past two weeks although i find the entire lot bulky - around 3300 pages. I am contemplating buying the schwesser notes - around 1551 pages… I hope this finds you right
